Broccoli Live Home Tray
These medium-sized live home growing trays are great for your home kitchen and people who enjoy the growing, cultivating and harvesting of Microgreens. With our live trays, most of the cultivation and growing has been done, however, we recommend storing your live tray in a well-ventilated, temperature-controlled space. Also, light watering once a day is recommended.

- Our microgreens are harvested regularly, to ensure that our customers receive the freshest produce and the highest quality. Fully compostable/biodegradable packaging is used to stay environmentally conscious. Our produce remains mold-free for up to 14 days if Stored Correctly
- If you prefer your microgreens in a live growing plant tray, please take the following into account, Caution! Some microgreen varieties tend to form mold in the root area, if not properly attended to. Make sure that your planting mat is well-ventilated at all times. Please note that the weight of the products offered in live growing trays includes the grow mats, water, roots and packaging. This is why the usable plant weight is generally 40-50% below the declaration. All live grow tray suppliers have the same complications when it comes to mould control. See what Wikipedia has to say!

Our nutrient-packed Broccoli looks like a deep green and miniature version of this popular vegetable with a mild and slightly bitter taste that’s very crunchy and dense. Use it in salads, soups, smoothies and sandwiches along with quiches, omelettes or other breakfast food that incorporates eggs. There are tons of ways to eat broccoli microgreens. Depending on your family and their pickiness level you could serve these hidden where the kids can’t see them or in something like a salad.
If you need to hide the powerhouse veggie, then I would consider a microgreen smoothie. Green smoothies can taste amazing and can be a great way to add a ton of veggies and fruit into your day without much effort. Your broccoli microgreens can also be added to sandwiches. Add them in addition to your normal favourites like lettuce and spinach. Or add them to your favourite egg scramble, quiche or omelette for a super tasty breakfast. There is no wrong way to eat microgreens. You can even just snack on a handful of them if you want to give that a try!

How microgreens are grown can have an impact on the amount of vitamin C found in broccoli microgreens, but in general broccoli microgreens have very high amounts of vitamin C.
Broccoli microgreens have larger quantities of magnesium, manganese, copper, and zinc. These are essential minerals that most people are deficient in. Broccoli microgreens aid in disease prevention as they contain the highest amount of sulforaphane available compared to almost any other food available. Sulforaphane is a sulphur compound found in cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, bok choy and cabbage.
