Experienced Horticulturalist
This is a part consulting, part hands-on role, working alongside management. With an eye for detail, a broad range of skills and sound organizational ability, this role will suit an experienced horticulturalist looking for something a little different.
Requirements to apply for this role:
- Higher qualification in horticulture
- Must have operational site and people management experience
- A good understanding of the operation of irrigation systems
- Be tech-savvy and have good record-keeping ability
- Have some experience related to customer engagement
- Have a good work ethic and ability to manage time efficiently
- Have innovative ideas and be able to help shape business strategies with the owners
- Enjoy the achievement of growing products to a high standard
- Initially, your responsibilities will be managing all aspects of plant production and dispatch, and include
- Growth/Yield monitoring and plant diagnostics
- Overseeing crop protection
- Irrigation
- Customer engagement
- New staff training
- Record-keeping and urban farm compliance
- Health and Safety risk management
- Day planning
- Support in other areas of our urban farm, maintenance, and customer care.

You will be starting off with 30 hours per week. Hours are 8am to 2pm Monday to Friday.

Multitasking Farm Hand
This is a hands-on role where you will be doing the harvesting, planting, watering, packing and deliveries among other duties. We want someone that is eager to learn and passionate about growing fresh produce.
Requirements to apply for this role:
- Must have a valid working visa for New Zealand or residency
- A basic understanding of what microgreens are
- To present yourself in a tidy and professional manner
- Friendly and open personality
- A good work ethic and ability to manage time efficiently
- Enjoy the achievement of growing products to a high standard
- Support in other areas of our urban farm, maintenance, and customer care.
Would be a bonus if you had the following:
- Some experience in social media marketing
- Some experience related to customer engagement

You will be starting off part-time with 10 hours per week, 3 days per week. This can quickly turn into a full time position.
